Re: Dr. Osami Kuboki’s Seung Hwa Ceremony

Greetings from New York. Today we received an e-mail message from Japanese headquarters informing us that, Dr. Kuboki, the first president of the Unification Church of Japan, who served in that position for twenty-seven years, passed away into the spirit world on December 13 at 1:59 a.m. Dr. Kuboki passed on very peacefully. At the time, centred on President Erikawa, all his relatives and many church leaders were gathered together.

Dr. Kuboki is a national messiah for China. During the pioneer time in Japan, he really sacrificed his family and offered his dedication to Heavenly Father and True Parents. He related to us both as a father and as a brother. Whenever he received some difficult task from True parents, he kept absolute faith and tried to accomplish it. Dr. Kuboki really built up the foundation for the Unification Church of Japan.

The Japanese Headquarters announced that Dr. Kuboki’s Gwi Hwan Ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m. on December 14 at Shinju-ku Church. The Seung Hwa Ceremony will be held on December 15 at 9:00 a.m. also at the Shinju-ku Church.
